Testing canon a2e + various lenses (af and mf)

star wars hero and some other guy. got it on the St. Patrick's parade. all those shots are with canon ef 50/1.8 lens. Later, other lenses were briefly tested on this body.

local homeless people dancing

some local art

ginkgo starting to show leaves

all previous shots were shot with aperture priority, this one with program for portraits

ok, informal test of my takumar lenses and my ability to focus without AF confirmation or good focusing screen.

S-M-C takumar 50/1.4 shot at f2.8 and 1/8000

fish eye takumar 17/4 shot at f4 and 1/3000. as expected pretty soft at full aperture.

super-takumar 135/2.5 shot at f4 and 1/4000. satisfied with it.

super-takumar 28/3.5 shot at f3.5 and 1/3000. again, pretty soft at full aperture.

super-takumar 50/4 macro shot at f4 and 1/3000. perfectly sharp, as expected.

super-takumar 35/2 shot at f2 and 1/8000. again, pretty soft at full aperture. this is my the least favorite takumar.

yashinon 50/1.7 shot at f2.8 and 1/8000. colder colors as expected but otherwise good. I'm keeping this lens.

ok, and of course, one more traditional ID to close with.

Pontchartrain beach through olympus OM2 and neopan ss

one saturday's afternoon on the pontchartrain beach. it used to be a place with beaches, entertainment center etc. however, you can find just ruins over there today. A lot of people still have picnics there and in fact, it is very interesting place.

50/1.4 lens used on almost all shots with some on 50/3.5 macro

some brave kids went into the lake, it is still very cold though

nobody cares! we either :-)

nice detail

50/3.5 - nice small camel

take your time and try to find me in the hole :-)

this butt was not so nice but I wanted to finalize the roll :-)

wasn't successful and had to take one more shot. ok, that's it.
